ALZA CAPITAL

Private equity fund founded by Guillermo Zambrano and Angel Alvarez, two pioneers of search funds in Mexico and Latin America. Together with Jesus Lanza, Guillermo and Angel acquired Universidad Tres Culturas, a private university in Mexico. After operating the university for three years they tripled the revenue figures at their time of purchase.

ANACAPA PARTNERS

California-based fund of search funds focused on empowering entrepreneurs. Founded by Jeff Stevens, a successful entrepreneur who has acquired and operated various businesses throughout his career. The fund is operated by Jeff and Ashley Giesler, who have more than 35 years of experience advising, operating, and investing in companies funded by search funds,  private equity, and venture capital.

CERRALVO CAPITAL

One of the leading investment funds in search funds in Latin America. Founded by Mario Sicilia and Jose Antonio Fernandez Garza Lagüera, two of the first Mexican entrepreneurs to found a search fund. They acquired, operated and sold Bomi, a logistics company within the health sector, generating a return over 5x. Cerralvo's partners also include Jose Antonio Fernandez Carbajal, Santiago Perez Teuffer and Jaime Alatorre Benard, who have extensive experience investing in and operating national and international companies in sectors including CPG, health, and energy.

PACIFIC LAKE PARTNERS

Boston-based private equity fund, founded in 2009. Its portfolio has a focus on search funds around the world, concentrating mainly on the US and Latin America. Its managing partners are Jim Southern, founder of the first search fund in the 80s, and Colley Andrews, who have managed more than 100 investments in search funds. Pacific Lake is recognized as one of the most active institutional investors in search funds globally.
